New Kannada news channel Swaraj News Kannada has started test signals.

Bengaluru: New Kannada news channel Swaraj News Kannada has started test signals.  The channel is using the license of Swaraj Express, a Hindi news channel.

The channel will compete with existing 16 news channels in Karnataka and another few news channels viz  First News, G6 News and  TV1 are on the way in the already crowded market.

According to BARC ratings, TV 9 tops the TRP charts followed by Public TV and Suvarna News.
